Heather Kindness
Heather joined Bales Beall LLP as an associate in 2021. She practices in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Prior to joining Bales Beall, Heather gained experience at two premier boutique Family Law firms in Toronto.
Heather practises in all areas of family law and provides strategic advice to clients regarding separation and parenting agreements, support, parenting disputes, complex property division, and domestic/marriage contracts. Heather represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario. She also assists clients in negotiating and mediating resolutions to their family law matters outside of court.
Heather holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Before law school, she received a B.A. (Hons.) in International Development Studies from McGill University. During her legal studies, Heather volunteered as a case worker at Advocates for Injured Workers, providing legal services to low income and vulnerable individuals in the community
