Charles Beall A founding partner of Bales Beall LLP, Charles Beall’s practice focuses on resolving estate, family wealth and family owned business related disputes.
Charles’ expertise is in complex litigation before all levels of courts (provincial and federal). His litigation career experience encompasses corporate, commercial and securities matters, forensic accounting issues, civil proceedings, judicial inquires, professional liability, personal injury, Crown prosecution and criminal defence. Charles is a sound and realistic strategic thinker, as well as being extremely articulate.
Charles has used mediation effectively in family wealth management, estate, personal injury, shareholder disagreements, employment, commercial contracts and real estate matters. He is able to develop mediated resolutions that build trust, modify opinions, stimulate creativity, and effectively manage outcome strategies. In addition to assisting his own clients in the mediation process, Charles is a trained mediator. This gives him additional ability to participate effectively in the mediation process.
Charles’ community involvement includes past Chair of the North York General Hospital Foundation Board, as well as being a long standing patron of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He is an avid boater, Treasurer of the Toronto Power Squadron, member of the Model Railroad Club of Toronto and a photographer, when he is not travelling.
