Benjamin Arkin is an associate lawyer at Bales Beall LLP. He practices in the areas of family law, estates litigation and civil litigation. Ben shares the firm’s approach to client service: he works together with his clients to understand their situations and plan strategies to meet their needs. His first goal is to help his clients resolve their cases amicably. When a resolution is not possible, Ben is always ready to put forward their strongest case in court.
Ben brings to the firm his experience in various areas of litigation. He has worked in criminal defense, commercial litigation, and landlord-tenant law. He has represented clients before courts and administrative tribunals in Ontario.
At the University of Toronto, Ben served underprivileged clients at the Downtown Legal Services legal aid clinic. He continues his involvement in the community by running a weekly homework club for elementary school students in Regent Park. Ben’s personal interests include backcountry camping, paddling, and curling.
